Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Matos Velhos defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito de Godoi. The Matos Velhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito de Godoi should have stopped the shot. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vito de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of the match. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Vito de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 21 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 32nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Vito de Godoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Matos Velhos from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Vilhena in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Gentil to make the kick off. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Matos Velhos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito de Godoi saved Matos Velhos from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Bo Stam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matos Velhos's Karl Nietlisbach was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. Matos Velhos's Özdemir Saygur was substituted for Generoso Silvino. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bo Stam, made in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of Peru booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Stam didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Júlio Gentil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito de Godoi. Vito de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. 91 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's Henrique Candal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
