When Gualter Leal fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Błαck Bułłs MZ's protests and gave Gualter Leal a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Błαck Bułłs MZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. After some careless play in the Błαck Bułłs MZ defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Pereira. The Błαck Bułłs MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Pereira should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Cléberson Fonseca threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Cléberson Fonseca in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 25 minutes into the match, Błαck Bułłs MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Augusto Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Danilo Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 29th minute of the match. The throw-in from Cléberson Fonseca in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 37 minutes into the game, Cléberson Fonseca threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Augusto Pereira was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Moises Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augusto Pereira. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play.

After 51 minutes, Esteban Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Błαck Bułłs MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. Augusto Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabius Cannavaro got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualter Leal hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Danilo Seco made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 71 minutes into the game, Carlo Puyol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Błαck Bułłs MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The supporters of Honduras booed when Błαck Bułłs MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Garrinchinha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cléberson Fonseca, made in the 81st minute of the game. Sebastian Villa scored 5-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Pereira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 minutes, Emanuel Ocampo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Błαck Bułłs MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Fonseca got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Danilo Seco. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
