Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hemmersbacher SV's Scott Herz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luca Saenger charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Saenger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luca Saenger kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Khalid Gottschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hemmersbacher SV's Khalid Gottschalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Gottschalk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Hemmersbacher SV defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Gottschalk. The Hemmersbacher SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Gottschalk should have stopped the shot. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Scott Herz in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Luca Eichenberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hemmersbacher SV and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Hemmersbacher SV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Khalid Gottschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Hemmersbacher SV's Khalid Gottschalk. Khalid Gottschalk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Scott Herz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Hemmersbacher SV were awarded a corner. Rory Restaino went to the cornerflag to take it. Hemmersbacher SV's Fréderic Brun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hemmersbacher SV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Gottschalk having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Saenger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. In the 74th match minute, Hemmersbacher SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Restaino to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Khalid Gottschalk made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Hemmersbacher SV's Khalid Gottschalk managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Hemmersbacher SV's Khalid Gottschalk got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Gottschalk having to interfere. Rory Restaino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Hemmersbacher SV's Khalid Gottschalk. Khalid Gottschalk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Hemmersbacher SV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
