Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enginsu Lütfullah in the 3rd minute of the match. Carlos Augusto do Valle struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Saubrigues. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Frankie Le Van got a free kick in the 8th minute. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Saubrigues the free kick. In the 17th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. After 24 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Carlos Augusto do Valle sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathys Mora having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto do Valle to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Raphaël Giacometti got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camille Roca during the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Frankie Le Van recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4-2 became the score in the 65th minute when Aaron Alcocer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Keita. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Roca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Moruga took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frankie Le Van in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathys Mora. Eliseo Noboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-5. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Costa Rica players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
