Filip Blicharz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute of play. Filip Blicharz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. Filip Blicharz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Blicharz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. U.VAGABUNDOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced U.VAGABUNDOS's goalkeeper Filip Blicharz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robrecht Moreau, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robrecht Moreau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Perez's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Perez helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes U.VAGABUNDOS got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Perez. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, U.VAGABUNDOS's Claudinho Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 70th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filip Blicharz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Filip Blicharz made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Filip Blicharz. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robrecht Moreau in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the U.VAGABUNDOS defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Blicharz. The U.VAGABUNDOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Blicharz should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes U.VAGABUNDOS got a freekick which was hit by Robrecht Moreau. Luiz Paulo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
