Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Jose Carita threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Mandiyu's Ignacio Lopez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 5th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Narvaja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Roberto Cherro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Roberto Cherro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Cherro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Roque Narvaja managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Panama's Abraham Alguacil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Cherro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Aaron Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Deportivo Mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Lopez in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Serafin Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Narvaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 21st minute of play. Jose Carita made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alex Cambeiro immediately put the ball in play. In the 28th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Narvaja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Roque Narvaja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Magallanes during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Abelardo Magallanes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's Klement Lech was substituted for Rodrigo Palacios. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Magallanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Cherro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Lopez in the 58th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. 62 minutes in the game Jose Carita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miguel Miralles. After 70 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. In the 73rd minute, Ignacio Lopez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panama's Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move. In the 77th minute, Miguel Miralles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Narvaja was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Eustaquio Gilabert hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Bilintx during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Narvaja having to make a save. Chiquito Benítez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Chiquito Benítez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 97th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquito Benítez, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Panama were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Mandiyu for a fine match.
