Zygmunt Pietrowskis short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tymoteusz Tyskie. Tymoteusz Tyskie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Liwocz Brzyska's Tymoteusz Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymoteusz Tyskie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zula Przebendowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Przebendowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Liwocz Brzyska's Hugon Tychy got a free kick in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Przebendowski in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Liwocz Brzyska's Tymoteusz Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 41st minute of play. Zula Przebendowskis short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Liwocz Brzyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Komanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Liwocz Brzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tymoteusz Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Przebendowski in the 61st minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Liwocz Brzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Drebit to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, Liwocz Brzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Bialakowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Liwocz Brzyska's Tymoteusz Tyskie didn't even have to move. In the 79th minute, Liwocz Brzyska's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play forced Liwocz Brzyska's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Tyskie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Tychy charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugon Tychy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Liwocz Brzyska getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jacek Mnich hit a great ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Liwocz Brzyska and deserved their victory. The Liwocz Brzyska players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
