The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Di Loreto. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Attilio Di Loreto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Di Han Guo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Lipa KS's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Attilio Di Loreto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute of the match Lipa KS got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkadiusz Juszkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lipa KS's corner Arkadiusz Juszkowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play forced Lipa KS's goalkeeper Di Han Guo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Di Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Di Han Guo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. The throw-in from Oberst-Wilhelm Ström-Lundvall in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Di Han Guo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Di Loreto in the 41st minute of play.
The wind increased when Attilio Di Loreto made the kick off in the second half. Wincenty Lagiewniki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Han Guo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Di Han Guo. Di Han Guo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Attilio Di Loreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Leszek Trzemzalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürhan Arkan went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Oberst-Wilhelm Ström-Lundvall made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Slawomir Rutkowski immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Gürhan Arkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Lipa KS's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Di Han Guo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Di Han Guo. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lipa KS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
