Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Basri İhtiyar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of play. Atilano Dino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Yalapa's Atilano Dino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Olaf Gall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Leonardo Nogueira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Leonardo Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Atilano Dino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo was substituted for Leonardo Nogueira. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Dolfo made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Facundo Cadaval fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Basri İhtiyar, passed just outside the right post. Basri İhtiyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Tore-Andre Flø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basri İhtiyar made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Basri İhtiyar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basri İhtiyar skillfully saved the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Ramond in the 86th minute of the match. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore-Andre Flø in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Ramond in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind.
