Zhu Ao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zhu Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Zhu Ao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After 54 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhu Ao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Zhu Ao made a huge save. In the 64th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Andırın SK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıhan Saik, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Lütfü Şenbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Batıhan Saik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 88 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zhu Ao, 2-3. In the 92nd minute, Olaf Jarosz made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 96th minute Batıhan Saik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
