Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marquez Padolles started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Sári in the 4th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fausto Romero sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. 11 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Rudolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquez Padolles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Rudolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Rudolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Coritiba Foot Ball Club from getting a goal against them. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Alvaro Rudolfo made a huge save. Fausto Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. With his leg Alvaro Rudolfo managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Marquez Padolles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Carlos Eduardo Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Rudolfo having to make a save. With a little luck, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's Luis Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alvaro Rudolfo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Rudolfo had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Romero in the 55th minute of play. Alvaro Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Santino Seco got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Fausto Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 67th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 76th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedrinho Godoi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Santino Seco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Artur Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquez Padolles. Abram Secada struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Alvaro Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia.
