In the 10th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Vedat Arslanoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Helström's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Vedat Arslanoğlu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Vedat Arslanoğlu could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Lefebre in the 26th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Alfons Helström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jofurs Drängar's Ola Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Lefebre in the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Cirilo Lefebre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilbert Björklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilbert Björklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Jofurs Drängar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Vedat Arslanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Osvald Alkvist hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jofurs Drängar's Magnus Glad was substituted for Cirilo Lefebre. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The Jofurs Drängar fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Jofurs Drängar's Gilbert Björklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilbert Björklund scored 7-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 92 played minutes Jofurs Drängar got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Hedström. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jofurs Drängar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
