Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geronimo Colas came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. Montecarlo FC's Cristobal Txindoki was substituted for Artemio Ibañez. Luis Andino made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. 79 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geronimo Colas, 1-3. After 87 played minutes Montecarlo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdul Elbert. A collision led to Montecarlo FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Abdul Elbert hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Montecarlo FC's Juan Ferrando got a free kick in the 90th minute. Montecarlo FC's Geronimo Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Montecarlo FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Montecarlo FC.
