Arroyito FC's Gabriel-Omar Santirso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Gulak, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Messias. Carlos Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 32nd minute of play. Thiago Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Roman Bazil sent off a good shot on target. Golaki Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Navarro Montoya having to interfere. Thiago Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Unax in the 37th minute of the match. Lisandro Martínez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Jataiense Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Martínez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Paraibano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Venancio Etor. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Arroyito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jataiense Futebol Clube:s goal. Arroyito FC:s Carlos Navarro Montoya showed great skill when he stopped Alexander Milošević:s penalty. 45 minutes into the match, Alexander Milošević notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya. Carlos Navarro Montoya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 76th minute, Gervasio Unax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Basarab Trif hit a great ball. Venancio Etor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Miroslav Kvita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gabriel-Omar Santirso took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Paraibano. Thiago Paraibano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Nino Maldini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arroyito FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
