The wind increased when Kaj Petersson made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Bergkvist struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dindarbelidiyespor. Dindarbelidiyespor's Fredrik Wiman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Dindarbelidiyespor from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Ekström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
