In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğit Pekiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to TEATRomaniacy getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lucjan Dulemba hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğit Pekiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TEATRomaniacy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Kaczorowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Fernandez Pizaño hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Luis Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. TEATRomaniacy's Sune Åkesson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55thth minute of the game Fernandez Pizaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. TEATRomaniacy were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sune Åkesson took the corner. The corner led to TEATRomaniacy's Christos Vournas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandez Pizaño in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in TEATRomaniacy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Yiğit Pekiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, TEATRomaniacy's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Yiğit Pekiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TEATRomaniacy's Yiğit Pekiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save TEATRomaniacy from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Yiğit Pekiner however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğit Pekiner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tanek Siedlecki charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tanek Siedlecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TEATRomaniacy throughout the match.
