Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rostislav Sitarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Lilko Timov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lilko Timov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lilko Timov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lilko Timov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

With his leg Lilko Timov managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lilko Timov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Celil Zabit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Eloi Ocomardia got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rostislav Sitarski struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN SOKOLI-VARNA. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
