Lipa KS:s Di Han Guo showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. 5 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Di Han Guo. Lipa KS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Di Han Guo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. Di Han Guo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Di Han Guo made a huge save. In the 18th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Di Han Guo quite easily take care of the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Di Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Lipa KS's goalkeeper Di Han Guo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Di Loreto in the 31st minute of play. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval pulled a muscle in his leg after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Facundo Cadaval. A collision led to Lipa KS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arkadiusz Juszkowski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Di Han Guo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Di Han Guo threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute, Zula Kiepski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Han Guo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Di Loreto made a kick off. Leszek Trzemzalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lipa KS's Di Han Guo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. Di Han Guo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Arkadiusz Juszkowski came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lipa KS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Juszkowski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play forced Lipa KS's goalkeeper Di Han Guo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürhan Arkan got free with Dante Lacasa in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Lipa KS's Wincenty Lagiewniki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Di Han Guo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Han Guo having to interfere. Although Mexico had been in control for most of the match, Lipa KS still came away with the win.
