In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Waselewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Tytus Piechna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Waselewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 25 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Waselewicz. Emil Waselewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Nimtofte in the 40th minute of play. After 46 played minutes DawcyMocyWNocy Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Matty Baumhauer.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Waselewicz. Emil Waselewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in DawcyMocyWNocy Juniors's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Waselewicz came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Emil Waselewicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DawcyMocyWNocy Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Klejnowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Waselewicz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by DawcyMocyWNocy Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 78th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Emil Waselewicz made a huge save. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Emil Waselewicz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Emil Waselewicz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emil Waselewicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. Emil Waselewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by DawcyMocyWNocy Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
