Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimír Veleta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimír Veleta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Veleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vladimír Veleta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes ITAMARATY got a freekick which was hit by Germano Vander. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ITAMARATY's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimír Veleta came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ITAMARATY's goalie prevented a goal. Vladimír Veleta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimír Veleta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgílio Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ITAMARATY's goalkeeper Vladimír Veleta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. ITAMARATY's Vladimír Veleta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save ITAMARATY from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vladimír Veleta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after ITAMARATY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 67 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimír Veleta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Domingues came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 78th minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio Domingues's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Vladimír Veleta however easily saved by the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimír Veleta saved ITAMARATY from getting behind. After 90 minutes, Germano Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ITAMARATY and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ITAMARATY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard, long distance shot from Luis Andino flew over the goal. With his leg Vladimír Veleta managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ITAMARATY throughout the match.
