Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Landero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ilias Seichanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilias Seichanidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Apostolis Kalopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th match minute, ΟΦΗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolis Kalopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Augusto Landero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostolis Kalopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apostolis Kalopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute, Apostolis Kalopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Landero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Babbis Theodorakakos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΟΦΗ's protests and gave Babbis Theodorakakos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Babbis Theodorakakos hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Nasos Papadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΟΦΗ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by ΟΦΗ's Augusto Landero. But to his dismay, Augusto Landero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ΟΦΗ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasos Papadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by ΟΦΗ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilias Seichanidis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomas Illescas got in the 72nd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ilias Seichanidis. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-1. When Augusto Landero came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the ΟΦΗ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Landero couldn't finish the play. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a ΟΦΗ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Landero in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Landero's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Bletsios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes, Augusto Landero made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that ΟΦΗ were the better team. ΟΦΗ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
