Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcus Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 3rd minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Deacon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Amílton Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 17th minute of play. Steve Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Farmer in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Samuel Farmer sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. Samuel Farmer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Rolando Noboa 24 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Deacon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute of the match, Steve Oliver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Farmer got free with Rolando Noboa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Glyn Smith fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mayo's protests and gave Glyn Smith a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Glyn Smith got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute of play.

Julian Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Deacon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 63 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. In the 66th play minute Julian Murillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcus Deacon. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Oliver in the 76th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 85th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Amílton Siqueira made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Will Porter however managed to control. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
