Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xandinho Kane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Lamine Xande tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Xande Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamine Xande might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lamine Xande ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Xandinho Kane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Xande Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xandinho Kane's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Xandinho Kane 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamine Xande made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lamine Xande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lamine Xande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 59th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon didn't even have to move. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xande Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Robinho de Souza replaced Xande Musiala. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 70 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Lamine Xande. The supporters of Venezuela booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lamine Xande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xande Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Secada in the 73rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Marquinhos Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Xande Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Válbson Schmidt got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Robinho de Souza hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Xande Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 94th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense.
