Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play forced io.dasola's goalkeeper Szczepan Ciechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 7th minute. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Szczepan Ciechocki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Kolano in the 26th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Basem Salem. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Kolano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sylwester Kolano to make the kick off. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when io.dasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes, Sjoerd van den Bergh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the io.dasola and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to io.dasola getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sjoerd van den Bergh hit a great ball. Szczepan Ciechocki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 78 minute of play. Szczepan Ciechocki came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szczepan Ciechocki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Szczepan Ciechocki made a huge save.
