In the 22nd minute Charalambos Vokolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charalambos Vokolos in the 33rd minute of the match. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charalambos Vokolos in the 78th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charalambos Vokolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
