In the 16th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goodwill-Yoosuk Simon Sabio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goodwill-Yoosuk Simon Sabio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goodwill-Yoosuk Simon Sabio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Julian Murillo scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Goodwill-Yoosuk Simon Sabio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
