Illés Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Boldizsár Szabados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Boldizsár Szabados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Illés Kiss having to interfere. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Illés Kiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Zsolt Gergely sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Újlõrincfalva LC! Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Szabolcs Vígh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Illés Kiss. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
