But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Arthur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 21 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when João Paulo Peres sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Panama booed when One Piece FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Arthur having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Aaron Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the One Piece FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Mandrak in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Lucjan Skwira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. One Piece FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After 48 played minutes One Piece FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Skwira. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Tomas Berganza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Isidoro Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Isidoro Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of One Piece FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvin Arthur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Arthur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Cambeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes, One Piece FC's 庄峰威 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in One Piece FC reached it. After a rather tough play, One Piece FC's Lucjan Skwira got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Arthur having to interfere. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye One Piece FC's goalie prevented a goal. 90 minutes into the match, One Piece FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Alvin Arthur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
