Cafu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Torcato Brito fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's protests and gave Torcato Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Colombia's Gael Capmany was substituted for Joshua Garrido. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Torcato Brito got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a long run with the ball, Agustín Alvarez did a trick in the 56th minute in front of Colombia's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-3. An impressive performance by PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Agustín Alvarez! Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Agustín Alvarez. But to his dismay, Agustín Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON made a substitution. Rogelio Cosca replaced Usain Bolt. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Procopio Mayorga was substituted for Agustín Alvarez. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Millrick Portanares was substituted for Torcato Brito. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Cosca in the 76th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Rogelio Cosca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Zalayeta in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Cosca got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Lukasz Klucznik got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Colombia.
