Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Mosiniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Leon Mosiniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 18th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mykyta Yaremenko during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Mario gool got a freekick which was hit by Mykyta Yaremenko. Leon Mosiniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Oryniak in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mario gool's Mykyta Yaremenko got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Mosiniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Mosiniak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Mario gool getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Przemyslaw Moryl hit a great ball. Leon Mosiniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of the match. Leon Mosiniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Mosiniak having to interfere. Kryspin Oryniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kryspin Oryniak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Larsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Leon Mosiniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leon Mosiniak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play forced Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Mario gool's Zbyszko Kociniewski was substituted for Zenon Makomaski. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. CJ Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mario gool.
