With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Pál Kormos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 20 in the game by Pál Kormos from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by DIF LEEDS BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ulf Nordlander took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jonas Lundström charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Lundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Lundström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pál Kormos in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lars Gudmundsson hit a great ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 58 minutes, Ulf Nordlander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Nordlander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Brazilio Butt however easily saved by the left post. Brazilio Butt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 67th minute of the match. Lars Gudmundsson's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Gudmundsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Lars Gudmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Nordlander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brazilio Butt was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
