The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Aybars Cihannur in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Aybars Cihannur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aybars Cihannur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Axel Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aybars Cihannur. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Chucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Humberto Mandrak got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 32 minutes RÖK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. In the 32nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Abram Sarmiento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aybars Cihannur, passed just outside the right post. David Chucho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but David Chucho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 65th minute. Colombia made a substitution. RÖK's Aybars Cihannur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 71st minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RÖK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
