In the 46thth minute of the game Domingo Andrews who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Arismendy Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Owen in the 52nd minute of the match. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Andrews in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Jules Noriega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6.
