Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thilo Heß, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Tiger's Gaizka Mendieta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folko Rebe to maneuver through the defense. Josef Witlatschil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 18th minute of the match. Pentti Ojala's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizka Mendieta in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match, Iwo Sawicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tiger's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christo Bothenhain in the 31st minute. The corner ended in Thilo Heß almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Iwo Sawicki scored 3-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pentti Ojala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rudolf Speed made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizka Mendieta in the 46th minute of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 57th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Witlatschil having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Rudolf Speed. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Iwo Sawicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwo Sawicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Tiger made a substitution. Marten Weise replaced Iwo Sawicki.
