Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rolando Alley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a free kick in the 7th minute. The Atlético de Caracas fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Atlético de Caracas's Rolando Alley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute, Abram Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Zarando Calva made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Joshua Garrido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zarando Calva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute. Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético de Caracas from getting a goal against them. With his leg Zarando Calva managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zarando Calva, 1-1. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zarando Calva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Zarando Calva in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rolando Alley made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zarando Calva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Calva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva. Zarando Calva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Rolando Alley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rolando Alley really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Rolando Alley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Rolando Alley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. After having played for 73 minutes, Nazmija Stojković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nazmija Stojković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Alley. Rolando Alley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Calva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Atlético de Caracas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Atlético de Caracas may have spent more time on the ball, but Colombia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
