Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilhelm Nienhaus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Peru's Julian Murillo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner. Zé Paulo da Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Jarstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Lüder Roppel in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 44th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lüder Roppel got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emilio Melzer. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lüder Roppel made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zé Paulo da Silva. The throw-in from Lüder Roppel in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 65th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Jarstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 76th minute, Zé Paulo da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rune Jarstein was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
