The audience was convinced that Falcão Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Hermínio Maciel made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which João Vítor Alves however managed to control. El Salvador were furious when Joshua Curbelo was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 19th minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. El Salvador:s Ricardo Zorita showed great skill when he stopped Gil dos Santos:s penalty. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Gil dos Santos. But to his dismay, Gil dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Marques in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Adalberto Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Vianna to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão Marques in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Falcão Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil dos Santos went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Sergipano. Falcão Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Marques in the 57th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Gil dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Gil dos Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gil dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gil dos Santos. When Jorge Magrina fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jorge Magrina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Rondinone F.C - FDFDF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
