Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rick Theisens started the match with the kick off. Gijs ter Averst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Egbert Robbermond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijs ter Averst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Cees Masker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gijs ter Averst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Revenge defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gijs ter Averst. The Revenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gijs ter Averst should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gijs ter Averst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revenge's Gijs ter Averst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gijs ter Averst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gijs ter Averst having to make a save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Gijs ter Averst to make any attempt to save it. Gijs ter Averst made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Gijs ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Revenge's Gijs ter Averst did a great save. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gijs ter Averst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gijs ter Averst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Gijs ter Averst came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Gijs ter Averst was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. 79 minutes into the match, Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Gijs ter Averst in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Revenge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Agustín Saelices got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-10. 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Revenge's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 87 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gijs ter Averst was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gijs ter Averst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador played a much better game than Revenge and deserved their victory. The Revenge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
