In the 7th minute of the match Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gunnar Pettersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gunnar Pettersson made a great header on Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. 14 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. With a little luck, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Mämmädbağır Svensson got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mämmädbağır Svensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Mämmädbağır Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 51st minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkın Öğüç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Joakim Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mämmädbağır Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Joakim Forss in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lech Kaczucha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Mämmädbağır Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Joakim Forss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 2-1. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Lin Tian Nan was substituted for Arkın Öğüç. In the 80th minute Joakim Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Forss in the 84th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
