When Marco Tamayo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Marco Tamayo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford. Brigid Rutherford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. St. James Gate F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
