With an extended leg and a bit of luck Resulhan Okatan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Resulhan Okatan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Resulhan Okatan made a huge save. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ahmet Çağrı Erçelik managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUMHURİYET 100 YILI's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Çağrı Erçelik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cumali Civanbaht might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cumali Civanbaht ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumali Civanbaht in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Resulhan Okatan saved CUMHURİYET 100 YILI from getting behind. 36 minutes in the game, Alberto Tafalla dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Resulhan Okatan in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of CUMHURİYET 100 YILI booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mexico were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after CUMHURİYET 100 YILI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Resulhan Okatan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Resulhan Okatan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cumali Civanbaht hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Resulhan Okatan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cumali Civanbaht. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Resulhan Okatan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Mexico booed when CUMHURİYET 100 YILI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göksel Aynacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Resulhan Okatan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CUMHURİYET 100 YILI's Ahmet Ozan Berat fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Resulhan Okatan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Resulhan Okatan having to interfere. A collision led to CUMHURİYET 100 YILI getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Göksel Aynacı hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CUMHURİYET 100 YILI's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Resulhan Okatan came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
