Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olov Johnsson started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Johnsson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match VBL Stockholm got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Torbjörn Grönlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led VBL Stockholm's Torbjörn Grönlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Johnsson in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Olov Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of play forced VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper Carl-Chester Vallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes VBL Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Olov Johnsson. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. VBL Stockholm's Sven-Edvin Åström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 62 minute of the game. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 68th minute of play. Carl-Chester Vallgren stood somewhat misplaced when Alberto Tafalla came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 68 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Johnsson in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when VBL Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Macos Graciani made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joel Gaona immediately put the ball in play. When VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Carl-Chester Vallgren made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carl-Chester Vallgren. Carl-Chester Vallgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
