Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kayserispor's Klement Ledochowski started the match with a crisp pass. In the 13th match minute, Kayserispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hong Zhan Bang to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Hong Zhan Bang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hong Zhan Bang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erkan Sadi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Ledochowski in the 46th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Ledochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 55 minutes, Camilo Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Kayserispor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kenan Utkan in the 58 minute of the game. In the 61st minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkan Sadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kayserispor's Remi Van Linthoud in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
