A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Diego Bradley hit a great ball. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 26th minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
