The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Åke Termander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Roberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Karl-Åke Termander got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Zabal Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villadeatese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zabal Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Djurgårdens IF's Karl-Åke Termander in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villadeatese FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 minutes Villadeatese FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 孙凡冰 who took care of the corner kick. Alvaro Manzi made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zabal Villanueva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Scevola in the 23rd minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Yngve Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yngve Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Scevola in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper Dino Roberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Ermanno Testi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgårdens IF's Yngve Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto got control of the ball when 朱义岚 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ernesto Scevola put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yngve Fredriksson. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Karl-Åke Termander made the kick off in the second half. Villadeatese FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Djurgårdens IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Maranhense took the corner. After taking down the ball on Villadeatese FC's corner Alberto Maranhense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yngve Fredriksson quite easily take care of the ball. Dino Roberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Dino Roberto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgårdens IF's Alex Vinström. But to his dismay, Alex Vinström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 87 minutes into the game, Pitt Frøne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villadeatese FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Djurgårdens IF the free kick. In the 87th minute, Pitt Frøne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Alex Vinström notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto. Dino Roberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yngve Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Gazza in the 95th minute. Dino Gazza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Yngve Fredriksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
