Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Petter Skarkman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute. Jakob Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bolo Skjold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bolo Skjold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Bolo Skjold in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bolo Skjold saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Arman Lingren got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Protegéerna's Guido Python was substituted for Jakob Lundin. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo Låsberg replaced Fernando Arango. In the 63rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Petter Skarkman scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bolo Skjold. That made the score 3-1 in the 94 minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Protegéerna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
