Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 3rd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petter Skarkman struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protegéerna. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of the match. When Cassius Byrne got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bolo Skjold was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolo Skjold was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Lundin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bolo Skjold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Petter Skarkman in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Day, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 1-2 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Jakob Lundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Lundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 39th minute Jakob Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Skarkman in the 41st minute. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bolo Skjold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.

Jakob Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 62nd minute of play. Protegéerna's attentive Michael Näver managed to snatch the ball when Jenson Smith made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Monty Rogers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bolo Skjold made a huge save. In the 81st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Monty Rogers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bolo Skjold. That made the score 2-4 after 83 minutes of play. In the 90th minute, USA's Sam Campbell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Diego Bradley made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Python in the 96th minute of play.
