Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. After 9th play minutes Eric Păvăloae shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. 17 minutes into the match, Eric Păvăloae notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Rareș Tatulici got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Eric Păvăloae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Păvăloae scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eric Păvăloae to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cai Yue Guang. Ninjas in Pyjamas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eric Păvăloae showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Eric Păvăloae put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Eric Păvăloae got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-7. After having played for 78 minutes, Eric Păvăloae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Păvăloae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae. But to his dismay, Eric Păvăloae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rareș Tatulici took the corner. Ninjas in Pyjamas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
