Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gernando Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 4th minute. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Lorenzo Osasun. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Guerra having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Jorge Sainz threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ulisses Matorin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Lorenzo Osasun made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Osasun in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Lorenzo Osasun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Osasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ulisses Matorin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorge Sainz in the 37 minute of the game. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 39th minute of play. Jorge Sainz got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Francisco Seco. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Osasun to make the kick off. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Luís Gustavo Cunha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 50th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 56 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciriaco Lekubegi who took care of the corner kick. 58 minutes into the match, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Gernando Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Adalberto Valadares got a free kick in the 60th minute. Lorenzo Osasun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. If Lorenzo Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Osasun. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Sainz in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ulisses Matorin. After 84 played minutes A.F. Pindamonhangaba got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Paiva. 88 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Osasun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Osasun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 0-8. The A.F. Pindamonhangaba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.F. Pindamonhangaba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
