Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Angelino Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nahitantino's goalkeeper Everardo Javiero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Heintje Passos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heintje Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heintje Passos in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Nahitantino got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Berger. Everardo Javiero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Everardo Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nahitantino's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Javiero came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Heintje Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yuan Bin during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yuan Bin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heintje Passos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heintje Passos in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Nahitantino's goalkeeper Everardo Javiero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. 58 minutes into the game, Radomir Fudalej was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nahitantino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 58 played minutes Nahitantino got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Fudalej. After some careless play in the Nahitantino defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Javiero. The Nahitantino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Javiero should have stopped the shot. Nahitantino made a substitution. Pastor Platon replaced Marcelino Normando. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heintje Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Nahitantino's Esteban Salvator made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
